Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy covers the delegance.app website and Delegance Desk, a tool we are building for managing social media accounts from one place: publishing posts, reading comments and messages, and replying to them. It explains what information Delegance Desk handles and why. Delegance Desk is in development, and this policy will be updated before new features go live. The delegance.app website itself uses cookie-free visit statistics and does not collect personal information.
Information we handle
- Account details you give us to use Delegance, such as your name and email address.
- Connected social media accounts. When you connect Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or LinkedIn, you sign in on that network's own page. The network then gives Delegance an access token that lets it act on your behalf. We never see or store your social media passwords.
- Content from connected accounts that you ask Delegance to manage: your posts and scheduled posts, and the comments and messages people send to your pages, including the sender's public name and profile picture.
- Website chat messages from visitors who use a Delegance chat bubble on your website, and any details they choose to type in.
- Your knowledge sheet, the business information you provide so the assistant can draft replies.
How we use it
- To publish and schedule the posts you create.
- To show comments and messages in your Front Desk inbox and send the replies you approve.
- To draft suggested replies using your knowledge sheet and the message being answered.
We do not sell personal information, show ads, or use your content for any purpose other than providing Delegance to you.
Where it is stored
Delegance runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to carry out actions you request.
How long we keep it
We keep information only while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect a social media account, we delete its access token and stop collecting new content from it.
Deleting your data
You can remove Delegance's access at any time from the network itself, for example in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations. To ask us to delete all information Delegance holds about you or your accounts, email [email protected] with the subject "Delegance data deletion request". We will confirm once it is done.
